Terms of use
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the IQBook apps and website. IQBook is run by IQUEUE BARBERS LIMITED (company number 09336143), 63 Westbury Road, Ipswich IP4 4RE, United Kingdom.
1. What IQBook is
IQBook is a platform that lets customers join a live queue and book appointments at barbers, salons and similar businesses. The salons are independent businesses. They, not IQBook, provide the haircuts, treatments and other services, and set their own prices, hours and rules.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 and give accurate details. Keep your login private and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Queues and bookings
Joining a queue gives you a place in line, not a guaranteed time. Waiting times are estimates and can change when other customers are served or cancel.
Please be at the salon when you are called. A salon may mark you as missed if you are not there.
Appointments follow the cancellation window the salon sets. Cancelling late, or not turning up, may affect your ability to book with that salon.
Group bookings and the waitlist are offered on a best-effort basis. A waitlist message does not reserve a time.
4. Salons and their staff
Salons are responsible for the accuracy of their services, prices, photos, offers and opening hours, and for having the right to use any photos or content they upload.
A salon may choose to keep its customers exclusive. If it does, you can be connected to only one such salon at a time, and after leaving one there is a waiting period before joining another.
Salons must treat customer data lawfully and only use it to provide their services.
5. Reviews and content
Reviews must be honest and based on your own visit. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive or misleading. You allow IQBook to display your reviews and content in the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
6. Fees and payments
The customer app is free to use. Salons may pay fees or commission as agreed with IQBook. When online payments are available they are handled by our payment provider, and the salon’s own refund and cancellation rules apply.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no fake bookings or queue places, no attempts to break or overload it, no scraping, and no use for anything unlawful.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep IQBook available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features, and we will tell you about changes that matter.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, IQBook is not responsible for the services a salon provides, for a salon’s decisions, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for anything related to the service is limited to £100 or, if higher, what you paid us in the previous 12 months.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using IQBook and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes. If you are a consumer you keep any mandatory rights you have in the country where you live.
